Only my second 8K ever (both this year) which is an odd distance but it was fun and I had a little friendly competition coming down the last quarter mile. I managed to pull ahead and even pass one other runner when I hit my dead sprint to the finish line the last hundred yards or so. I actually managed a 2nd place age group finish!!
